Pocket Square - Tiny Blooms
i'm a sucker for tiny flowers. yard flowers, i sometimes call them. in early spring, as they start popping up amidst the grass in neighbors' yards, i'll pick a bunch and bring them home to put in a small vase for my lady. most people mow right over them without a thought. i try to get there first, before the first mow, to be able to savor their beauty a little longer.
those tiny blooms have mostly come and gone now, but this fine cotton reminds me of those under-appreciated, little gems. small pops of gold, red, and royal blue on a field of not-quite-white for a vintage look, finished with a narrow gold edging.
